1. Un-American Beatles.
The Beatles, perhaps one of the greatest rock bands to ever exist. Just like many other English rock bands, they grew to fame performing in the US. With their stylish suits and funky haircuts, they were gods in the ’60s.
This silly journalist wanted to point out to the Liverpool soon-to-be rock legends that the American audience thinks those haircuts are un-American. With a pinch of British humor, it didn’t take too long for John Lennon to give a classic reply.
2. München, you know, the one in Deutschland.
Who thought that the signs in Germany are in German? Well, clearly not this silly girl. We always try to look on the positive side of things, so, hey, at least she knew Munich is not in Austria!
Whoever replied to her “not so wise” question really showed no mercy and rubbed it in. And we must say, it was done quite witty too. And what was the cherry on top? The little jab that the Canadians got it better!
3. Glob... USA Warming.
How foolish of Rod Stewart is it? Carrying about global warming when he is a Brit! Didn’t he hear? The GLOBAL warming has an effect only on US citizens and only on the 4th of July when freedom Eagles are flying in the sky chanting “USA”.
We think Rod Stewart should be afraid of another man-made disaster. Human ignorance and lack of education. But on a less serious note, shouldn’t his Colonel Sanders suit qualify him for US citizenship?
4. Lucky number seven.
Two percent for Canada, really? Who are those people that hate Canada? Don’t they have the nicest people stereotype? Well, anyway, the patriotic American fellow in the comments clearly doesn't care about the ratings shown on the map.
And if an American does not care, obviously, the whole world should not care too. Oh wow, look, China got that lucky number seven as well. Wonder what the patriotic American fellow has to say about that...
5. The Lone Star.
Texas, The Lone Star State. What a place. Oh, hold on a second, North Korea is a Lone Star State too! They are even rocking the same red, blue and white freedom colors.
We love how he is using the flag as a cape. Going for that Captain America with a touch of Superman look. If you didn’t know that you are not to mess with Texas, now you know.
6. Pledge allegiance to the Flag.
Before even reading the reply to the Tweet, take a look at the profile picture of the user. Now is that a patriot or what? America, the symbol of freedom and liberty.
But unfortunately, that’s not what it had to offer to American Samoa, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Philippines, and let’s throw Vietnam as a bonus with some other places. We bet this fellow “pledge allegiance to the Flag…” every morning with his hand on his heart.
7. Wait till you hear Scouse.
Why do Spanish people speak Spanish, a Mexican language, rather than speaking some European language? This really is a whole new level of absurd this “Average Joe” is demonstrating here.
We wonder if those five people following this Quora question are doing it for the giggles the answers will show or they have the same question. Maybe if this guy hears a Scouse accent he’ll be convinced the Brits do speak some other accent.
8. Not even in the top ten .
We applaud this guy! He even made sure to point out to this silly laddy that the US is not even in the top ten when it comes to this touchy subject.
One would think you google such things before foolishly commenting on this subject. Not this lady... Should we tell her that also segregation ended just some 57 years ago?
9. Second Amendment.
Who knew the internet is accessible outside the US? It’s safe to say not this Second Amendment loving guy. As you can see, he clearly does not want his “constitutional right” to be infringed upon.
We wonder if he had Childish Gambino’s “This Is America” blasting in the background as he typed that silly comment. He probably was also having very deep thoughts on how can The United States invade Panama again.
10. That German look.
This not so clever fellow must be happy he got a chance to brag about his trip to Germany. Oh, his two trips…Or maybe he just wanted to brag that he has that “German look”.
What is a supper German look anyway? Lederhosen, a feather hat, and a beer mug? The last time we checked any type of German look theory didn’t bring any good. And neither did bragging so we hope that reply served him well.
11. Why not?
Sometimes we all ask questions that make us go “that was stupid of me. But doing that two times in a row?! That’s exactly what this guy did here. He even went as far as asking “Why not?”.
Ok, maybe he had that kind of a day, you know when you are just slow. But then he replies to the sarcastic answer of another user, further showing his lack of general knowledge. In Soviet Russia, he would be on the train to the gulags already.
12. Italy in Texas.
The poor guy genuinely sounds so confused that he almost had us convinced there is no Rome in Italy. But then we saw that he watches Fox News and figure out where the confusion came from.
Can you imagine the confusion on his face, when someone tells him, there is a country out there that is called Georgia? And that there is a town in Texas called Italy. Poor guy will have uncertainty about what is happening around him 24/7.
13. American measurements.
Here is another classic example of an ignorant guy with a big attitude. Just like another guy from a few posts above he thinks the internet is American. And what a way of calling the Imperial system of measurement. “American (the best) measurements”.
And of course, being a true American he had to point out that it’s the best system. He probably has no clue it’s called “The imperial system of units” and the Brits came up with it.
14. American Made.
No huffing and puffing just a simple reply, “That’s Germany”. We absolutely love it. Just to be exact, January 29, 1886, is when Carl Benz applied for a patent for his “vehicle powered by a gas engine.
The irony is that Toyota, a Japanese company, manufactures tops the list of the biggest car manufacturers in the United States. But that doesn’t matter, this guy probably also thinks the internet is American Made.
15. It's your tax money.
We all know there is a lot of debate pointing out the pros and cons of the Health Care System in the US. But maybe if we go according to this guy’s reasoning, there are no cons to it…
And it’s not that you don’t pay for a hospital bill at all. It’s just that your tax money is actually put to some good use. But this is a way more complicated subject for him to comprehend anyhow.
16. Europe is not a country.
We don’t know where to start here…. Well, Europe is not a country. You can definitely buy guns in many of the European states, it’s just properly regulated and you don’t really need one.
If by freedom he means Democracy and Liberty, the term democracy first appeared in ancient Greece. But it looks like guns, luxury cars, and mansions are freedom to him. Well, cars came from Germany, mansions from France. Oh, and guns came from China, just like the rest of the things in his house.
17. Oh this Europe again.
The sad part here is that this is true. And what is even sadder is that he thinks he is right. One can argue he actually is right in his own weird logic.
After all, how can you be comparing some “cities” from Europe to the US? Where you can get a badge and a gun after some 4 months of training. Maybe he needs a degree before he goes around debating people. Oh, but isn’t there that other problem with getting a college degree in the US….
18. Bernie strikes again.
Bernie Sanders might not be the most favorable guy in the US...But it’s safe to say he is the most favorable guy online. And all because of that “rocking the mitten at the inauguration” meme going around.
And just with one tweet, just like one bad wardrobe decision made, he caused a storm in the comment section of his tweet. The best part is that it actually quite accurately represents his followers and those that oppose him.
19. Is it Trump they are on about?
We have a hunch this one is talking about President Trump. This guy, just like many others shown in this article, probably thinks the internet is strictly used by Americans and is Made in The USA.
He is right about one thing though, Trump really was the president of the United States. But we really wonder if he holds the same views regarding the presidency after the election results came in.
20. And the comment section strikes again.
So here we have Thomas Massie rambling about food stamps and the great health care system the US has. The guy who voted against making lynching a federal hate crime, stating that global warming evidence is not compelling.
And then bam, the comment section strikes again! And what is brought up in it? The US constitution, the foundation of everything. It actually was a quite nasty back and forth there...
21. What is happening here?
We are not sure what is happening here, but it’s definitely nothing smart. And how is it that what is mentioned by The New York Times there makes people so mad?
If you couldn’t answer that, don’t worry, you are not alone. But look at the amount of like those silly comments got. Who are those people!? And the “evil laugh”. This is just some weird shenanigans going on in the comment section once again.
22. All about that uniqueness.
Megan Rapinoe is all about that uniqueness. After all, there are not a lot of American professional football (soccer for the Americans) players. But in this case, she is not as unique if you read all the ridiculous things Americans had to say in the above posts.
In all fairness to her, she was probably only trying to sound woke. After all, it is the latest cool thing to do and be. She just did it a bit wrong.
23. American Toilet
We never thought there is even such thing as an “American Toilet”. Isn't it just a toilet....but apparently, this guy tends to think otherwise. But not only that he thinks about toilets differently also brags about them.
Safe to say he did not believe the other guy telling him that there is a whole world out there that is pretty developed as well! With quite good sanitation systems in place as well.
24. Americans call it soccer.
This is a classic one. Americans call it soccer the rest of the world calls it football. The funny part is that the term soccer was actually coined by the Brits. We are not so sure why this guy here decided to show a map to the clueless American fellow.
After all, you need to know what you are looking at to understand it. Clearly, he did not get it and went on to declare that the rest of the world is “clueless”
25. Fake accent.
Let’s say he is right in his very intelligent comment… This still does not change the fact that American English is still much simpler than the one spoken in the UK.
He also kind of sounds as if he was personally present on the battlefield during the revolution. Have to give credit to the Brits, they have been keeping up with this whole fake accent act so successfully since 1776.
26. He had it coming.
We have to admit the reply this guy got was pretty harsh. But on second thought, the emojis, the name-calling, typical obnoxiousness, well he kind of had it coming.
And what’s with the obsession of calling everyone who is different a commie? It’s not like the rest of the world is calling Americans Capitalist Pigs. Anyway, last time we checked, there has been quite a rise in popularity that socialism has in America.
27. Random city.
Hmm, just a random capital city of some insignificant country in Europe...Well here is your example number 27 why Americans are clueless. Hate to break it to him, but actually, Vermont is not even in the top 5 smallest states.
But that doesn't matter, he did not ask about it. He also way more than anyone else about his country. But that’s the only thing he really knows and not even that well.
28. Cubit measurement system.
Of course, Russia and China use the "cubit measurement" system. You know that system that originated in ancient Egypt. How do you think the Russians did their calculations to beat the US in the space race?
Maybe he counted the entire world population using some other measurement system the rest of the world combined doesn't know about. Or maybe he just Googled the answer to that via the American Internet too...
29. 100% on you.
For the guy who posted the pictures, we can’t help but wonder what other stuff really “pisses” him off? And as for the guy saying “it’s 100% on you”, go try saying it to the homeless people.
Some people get evicted, some people get addictions, some people are just not lucky and become homeless. And then some people, like the “leading character” of this post, are just not the sharpest tool in the shed.
30. Conservative views.
Read that again. It almost seems like the guy actually said something very intelligent and politically courageous. He is entitled to his opinion though...And to some false information as well.
But maybe, just maybe, he needs to change his views, just a tiny bit. Or perhaps just get some accurate information. You know, to preserve his conservative views. And of course, he really needs to avoid that evil socialist agenda. That he probably knows so much about with all that information he gets from the TV.
31. The best of the best.
So here we go again on the topic of the best of the best health care systems in the world. You guessed it, the American system. “Why,” you ask, haven't you heard?
Because anything American is big and is like really really best. Maybe not the education system though, or maybe this guy just didn’t get any. Ah, but what do we know, the rest of the world is “commie devas” anyways.
32. Really worth more.
So apparently, per this guy, human lives are really worth more to Americans only if you are American... Now that is one crazy way of viewing things if you ask us. But let’s cut him some slack.
He probably didn’t mean it or just didn’t know what he was saying. Or maybe he had too many drinks out of those red cups. Or maybe it’s that best of the best education system again...
33. Mediterranean.
At least he knew the word the Mediterranean! He also managed to spell it right! And after all, he was only trying to get some information to avoid insulating anyone who is from Italy. Very woke of him.
The next step is finding out what’s a sea and where is that sea is. And when he finds that out let's just hope he is not going to confuse it with the American Mediterranean Sea.
34. Med school is for losers.
Yeah, stop referring to them as heroes! Hold on, what happened to that world-famous American inclusiveness? Or maybe just some basic respect for one another? Nope, not in this guy's dictionary.
Med school is for losers. Printing flyers and practicing your freedom of speech is what you should really be doing. We can’t help but wonder if he actually served himself? Or did he only study and push buttons to make those patriotic flyers?
35. The Best System.
And of course, his profile image has a truck covered in the symbol of freedom and liberty to which he pledges his allegiance like a morning prayer. We wonder if he is being a troll or is he really that ignorant.
And in a typical American fashion he assumes that the rest of the countries in the world have the same political system as in America. Also known as The Best System.
36. The Department of Defence.
At last, an American who is self-aware. There is no shame in having problems in your country, but there is in being ignorant and thinking a gunship AKA the Angel of Death will solve them.
You might think this is some type of a joke right? No! That is actually the official Twitter account of the Department of Defence bragging around. Not too defensive of them when it comes to battling the “comment section”.
37. Telling time is a skill.
So telling time is apparently a skill for some. Well if they are “war criminals” by that logic they should have their time set to the military. But what are we talking about, there is no logic in what this guy is saying.
And actually the army might serve him some good. Maybe he will learn how to tell that time? Basic math never hurt no one and it will definitely hurt him.
38. American side of the road.
She sounds so convincing, we almost started wondering the same things. But why bother asking such a question if you say “1 out of every 20 or so will have one”, so of course they have refrigerators!
Maybe she was just trying to get to know some Brits? Now, imagine her confusion when she arrives in the UK and finds out that they do refrigerators. But don’t drive on the American side of the road!
39. Secondhand embarrassment.
Secondhand embarrassment is what this whole article is actually about. And when did the quality of being patriotic became equivalent to beeing a loud presence? Let’s add with no substance as well.
As we approach our last hero in this article, let’s hope that we see less of these posts. As much as they bring us tears of laughter, they bring us embarrassment and no hope in the human race.
40. Bambini!
And the award for the “The most American thing” goes to Bambini! Just to proudly show her Italian heritage she added a pizza emoji. We are not too sure what the glove is supposed to mean. Maybe because Rocky was Italian?
The best part about this screenshot is the expression that Squirrel has on that profile picture. That is exactly the face we want to make seeing all of these posts!
