1. Face Down, Tail Up, That's The Way They Like To Find Food
Just as this person was about to get a cute picture of the duck, it took a dive under the water to get some food, leaving its butt above water. That's is no way to greet people, Mr. Duck! How would you like it if we stuck our back ends in your face? You wouldn't like it at all.
He must have thought someone said, "What's up?" To which he replied, "Duck butt." We would frame this and hang it on our wall if we could because it is hilariously bad but also amazing at the same time. Hopefully, he got some good food, and it was worth ruining the picture.
2. When You Take A Photo Through The Screen On The Window
Whose grandmother took the time to cross-stitch a picture of two goldfinches? Oh, wait, someone actually took this picture through a window screen, and it came out horrible. We would have liked it much better if it were cross-stitched because that would make more sense.
The picture probably would have been perfect had it not been for the window screen. Those things might prevent bugs from coming in, but they always ruin photos. At least they have a pattern for the cross-stitch they can make in the future of this ruined picture.
3. Those Signs Weren't Lying
We can all agree that geese are the worst kinds of birds alive, right? They are rude, aggressive, and use the world as their bathroom. You don't even have to get that close to them to be seen as a threat because they will attack you even if you leave them alone.
When they have to put up signs that the geese are aggressive, you know it's a real problem. What did this person do to deserve this unwarranted attack? We would never walk in that area after seeing the signs because birds are scary, and angry geese are scarier.
4. "Let's Talk About Our Lord And Savior..Cheesus"
"Everyone, please turn to page 346. Today, we will be discussing the types of cheeses." Even though you can't tell which direction he is looking in, it still feels like he is staring into our souls. How much more food could this rat possibly need? You already gave him enough cheese to last him an hour.
Why does it look like it's judging you for interrupting its lecture? We can almost picture it with tiny glasses, a sweater vest, and khakis in front of a college lecture. He must be annoyed that his reading time was abruptly interrupted.
5. "Hey, Are You Trying To Take A Picture Of Me?"
"Sir, cameras aren't allowed in this part of the woods. Please put it away until the signs say you can use it again." This bird wanted to get up close and personal to make sure the photographer knew who he was dealing with. That is one bird we would not want to mess with.
We don't know what animal they were trying to get a picture of or what they were recording, but they probably never expected to see this angry bird face so close to the camera. It was mad because it realized the camera was recording all those private dance parties he had when he thought no one was watching.
6. You Know You Slept Well When You Wake Up Like This
This eagle looks like it has been through some stuff. If the year 2020 were represented by an animal, this is what it would look like. This bird is supposed to represent freedom and bravery, but it looks like it would be scared of its own shadow.
We don't know what he was doing before this picture, but it might have been something ill-eagle. His hair is all kinds of messed up, and he looks like he needs to talk to someone about what he just saw. Is there a bird therapist on-call? This guy needs it.
7. Hard Core Parkour
The photographer knew there were raccoons in the tree, but she couldn't see what they were doing until the flash came on. Boy, was she in for a hilarious shock. It looks like it is playing 'the floor is lava,' and it is having a hard time staying off the ground. If it goes any higher, it won't be able to hold on anymore.
If this was a movie it would be called Mission Impossible: Trash Panda Edition, and we are ready to go see it. He is ready to get in all kinds of trouble once this woman walks away, and they can be sure that the trashcans on that street will be rummaged through. Those pesky critters should learn to be quieter next time as not to get caught.
8. "Have You Seen My Family?"
After spending 25 minutes crawling through icy mud on a cold winter morning to line up the perfect shot, this deer decided to let out a huge burp just as he took the photo. It had been standing majestically that entire time, but it must have known how to ruin the perfect picture.
It's like he was waiting for the perfect opportunity to belch, and he held it in the whole time until he saw the photographer was close enough. He must be a teenage deer because adults would never be rude like that. It's like he is yelling at the cameraman to stop coming closer.
9. "There Is No Secret Club In This Trash Can"
This raccoon must be the bouncer for the secret underground raccoon club. He looks like the kind of raccoon who would ask if you are on the list or if you know someone at the party. Unless we dress up in a giant raccoon costume, it looks like we won't be allowed in the trashy club.
The drink of the night is a half-eaten apple martini, and you can get any kind of leftover food you want in there. The company might be a little rodent-like, but you can get used to that. As long as you can get past the intimidating bouncer, you will be ready to party.
10. The Bunny Isn't Good At Hide-N-Seek
This rabbit is having a hard time understanding the concept of hide-and-go-seek. The tiny tree must feel huge to him, so he thought he could use it to take cover. However, we spotted him right away, and we can't get over his cuteness.
He is trying to camouflage into the surroundings, and he must think he is disguised as a rock. That silly rabbit needs to find bigger things to hide behind if he really wants to disguise himself. One day he will really learn how the game works and see the error of his ways.
11. Getting The Inside Scoop
Have you ever wondered what a fish sees right before a pelican devours it? Even if you weren't curious, now you know what the inside of this scary mouth looks like, and you will understand how terrifying it is to be a fish in the ocean. We would not want to be a fish, that's for sure.
It's like looking into a black hole, and we feel like it's prey. Had you ever see the inside of a bird's mouth before? This is not what we expected, and we are officially ten times more afraid of birds now. They might not have teeth, but they can still hurt you.
12. Up Close And Personal With A Penguin Foot
We need the number for this penguin's pedicurist because they are doing a phenomenal job. When this photographer was observing the penguins, he used a special zoom lens, but the penguin waddled too close and this was all he captured in the frame.
Penguin feet are interesting because they keep the bird from freezing in the cold climates they inhabit. Now we understand why the movie was called Happy Feet because these feet make us very happy. Now we need to see the rest of the penguin.
13. She Thought She Tripped Over A Pipe Until They Turned On The Outside Lights
While fumbling around in the dark after coming home from work, this woman thought she tripped over a pipe that she told her husband to put away. When she went inside to yell at him, he insisted there wasn't a pipe in the way. Then they turned on the outside light, and she almost had a heart attack.
Who knows what could have happened if it decided to attack her for disturbing it. We would be curled up in the fetal position after seeing this scary snake and listing the house because it would be hard to live there knowing this is lurking just outside.
14. Can You Spot The Birds?
Sometimes when you think a picture is good, you have to remember to share it with the right audience. After capturing this eerie photo, this woman posted it on a bird-watching group hoping people would understand it was a joke, but no one seemed to find it funny.
Although you can't tell what these birds are, and you can barely see them, it is a cool photo. However, when it comes to wildlife photography, they should probably stick to their day job. If you still haven't spotted the birds, they are on top of the middle tree.
15. Possum Man Responding To The Distress Signal
"Na na na na na na na Possum Man!" In the most dire of garbage emergencies, they call Possum Man to help save the day. With the distress signal shining in the night sky, he knows to answer the call and eat all the extra trash. This only happens when Batman is busy and can't answer his calls.
Possums are creepy, and we wouldn't want them hanging out in our yard. This one started playing dead because it got scared by the bright light and didn't know what else to do. Hopefully, Possum Man stayed away for a long time because no one is shining his signal.
16. When Something Touches Your Foot In The Water
This Egret from Egypt is expressing regret for whatever he just did. We don't know what upset this bird, but it looks like he is shocked about something. Like, "How dare you touch my precious foot! Stay the heck away from me, sir."
He looks like the kind of bird that is scared of its own shadow. How does it survive in the wild? Although it is beautiful and majestic, we have all felt like this at some point! It's scary when something unidentified brushes against your feet.
17. Get A Room!
These two boars need to get a room because no one wants to see that in the middle of the road. These two are stopping traffic with their intimate session, and it's distracting to the drivers. Imagine telling your boss you are late because animals were doing it on the road.
What did he do to convince her it would be a good idea to try it in the middle of the road? "Honey, I promise no one is going to see. This road is usually empty right now; trust me." Once the cars started coming, he knew this would be the last time they would be adventurous.
18. The Cat Got Out And Made Some Stinky Friends
These "spot the difference" pictures are getting very hard. When their cat got out of the house, they set up a trail camera to see where she went. It turns out the cat made friends with the smelly gang in the backyard. He blends right in with them, besides their noxious odor.
It looks like they learned to trust the cat enough because they would normally spray something that scared them. It seems like he became the leader of the pack and rose through the ranks quickly. When he says, "spray," they say, "Which direction?"
19. The Last Place You Want To See Vultures Is In A Hospital Courtyard
When vultures are around, that usually means there is something dead in the area. When the doctors make a mistake, they call in the local vultures to hide the evidence. They must be hanging around the hospital just in case someone needs their special help.
If you are in the hospital and see vultures in the courtyard, it is probably not a good sign. We would probably get back in our car and go to a different hospital, even if we had to drive another two-and-a-half hours. Some signs just shouldn't be ignored.
20. The Rare And Elusive Hubba Bubba Deer
When the deer thought it would be a good idea to play catch, he didn't realize how difficult it would be to throw the ball back. It's a good thing bucks lose their antlers and regrow them every year; he only has to look like a dork for a couple more months.
He now has an airbag next time someone tries to fight him. It's much better protection for his head, and maybe one of them will pop the ball, so he doesn't have to walk around like this anymore.
21. They Asked To See Pictures From Their Son's Beach Trip, And This Was All He Took
Out of all the things someone could take pictures of at the beach, this is not one of the things people would think of. After their son took a trip to the beach, they expected to see pictures of him and his friends, the ocean, or even a sunset, but that wasn't the case for them.
The only picture this boy took was of the bird's footprint and what came out of it. Maybe he was going for a minimalist artistic picture or accidentally took the photo. Maybe he had a bad trip, and this was the perfect way to describe the experience.
22. Just An Alligator And A Turtle Sharing Some Pasta
When you read the title, did you have to re-read it because you thought your eyes deceived you? It turns out alligators and turtles love pasta, and they don't mind sharing. They might even have a Lady and the Tramp moment if they start eating the same string of spaghetti.
Who knew pasta was the way to solve the problems in the animal kingdom? Maybe we should get the world leaders together around a giant bowl of pasta to create world peace. Who knows, pasta makes everyone happy, and it could end all the wars.
23. We Knew Giant Birds Would Take Over The World Eventually
As we have seen, birds are not nice. They attack you, try to eat your cameras, and use the world as their bathroom. We knew it was only a matter of time before they took over the world. We just didn't think they would grow to be bigger than humans.
Why is that family so calm when a giant seagull is blocking their path? We would be running for our lives because it is like a hurricane and the wind power is insane when they start flapping their giant wings. If he wants to really scare people, he should start working on his legs.
24. They Thought Their Raccoon Friend Came Back, But This Is What Greeted Them At The Door
Based on the blurriness of this photo, you can't tell how scared the photographer was when they encountered the deer. She thought she heard the raccoon that often comes by their front door, so she went to take a photo, but to her surprise, it was a deer knocking on their front door.
It looks even scarier because it is shaky and blurry. It's like the deer turned into a gangly creature that is coming to haunt you for the rest of your life. We would shut the door and double lock it because there is no way that thing is getting any closer to us.
25. Someone Wanted To Get Out Of The Cold
While checking wood duck boxes, this little mouse and his friends jumped out of the box they had nested in. The guy freaked out because he didn't want the mouse crawling up his pants, but it crawled on the outside of his pants instead.
It must have been looking for a warm place to hide, but it wasn't so successful. His coworker took the picture, and he was having a proper laugh attack at his friend's expense. Hopefully, no mice or humans were injured in the making of this picture.
26. Found These Anemone While Walking Along The Beach
This reminds us of something, but we can't put our finger on it. Anemones are predatory marine animals that eat crab, and when they close themselves off, you can't see their beautiful colored arms. They are also home to clownfish and protect them with their stingers, as we saw in Finding Nemo.
It almost looks like someone's angry ex carried out their revenge. If you saw this hanging on a rock, would you get close enough to take a picture? We probably wouldn't because it looks too gross like this.
27. Majestic And Graceful Red-Tailed Hawk
"Hey guys, can you help me off the ground? I fell out of the tree, and my wings are too heavy to flip myself over." This bird looks like it needs some help after trying to do jazz hands mid-air. It's hard to look at it like a predator when it is sitting in a pile of its fluffy feathers.
The bird needs to be restarted to act properly again. We hope someone helped him off the ground, so he doesn't get hurt trying on his own. Maybe he was trying to bite his own talons, and this was the only position he could do that.
28. Behold, The Symbol Of The United States
If the US could be represented by any bald eagle in 2020, it would be this one. He must have been hanging out by the Taco Bell trashcan, waiting for people to throw away their uneaten Tacos. That will make anyone feel like this.
He looks so unbothered that someone is taking a picture while he is having a bathroom break. We wouldn't want someone to photograph our bathroom moments because that is personal and private time. No one else should be invited to watch.
29. Naked Squirrels On The Loose
On a small peninsula in Ontario, Canada, the squirrels like to walk around in their birthday suits. It's not very appropriate, but they don't care who's watching. The hairlessness is not a defect, but it happens for some reason in this region.
He must be freezing in the winter when the temperatures drop below zero, and he has no fur to keep him warm. The residents should knit them tiny sweaters, so they don't get too cold in the winter. They can name them and embroider the names for each of them.
30. Tiny Deer On A Fence
Wow, these deer figurines are very lifelike, and someone left them on the fence outside the deer's favorite meadow. We hope this scene doesn't end like Bambi with a hunter lurking nearby.
Perception is an interesting concept. When you look at these, they really make you believe that they are on top of the fence, but they are just far away and looked smaller this way in reality. If only we could take these and put them in our pockets because they are so cute.
31. Spotted This Blur Jay On The Deck This Morning
Is this the drill bird, or did someone captured a blue jay while they were shaking off the morning dew? When the bird is shaking, and all the colors are getting mixed, it looks like a giant eyeball staring into your soul. Those who witness the eye will have their fortunes told.
Birds look so funny when they shake off the moisture on their wings. The blue jays have the most beautiful coloring, and it is like the head of an electric toothbrush when you turn it on. All the colors are mixed together, and it creates a blur.
32. A Less Traditional Stick Bug Christmas Tree Topper
Can you spot the stick bug in this picture? It took us a second to notice this because it blends into the tree so well. He wanted to be the star of Christmas, so he tried to show that he was the best tree topper they would ever find.
The only problem is that it doesn't stand out from the rest of the tree, so no one notices that he is the tree topper. It looks like it is going to conduct an orchestra of elves as soon as Santa comes down the chimney so that he will leave extra presents.
33. "That's Not My Dog..."
"Honey, have you seen the dog?" "Yeah, she is sitting outside on the couch." "Uhh, that's not our dog!!" This fox decided to crash on their patio furniture for the night because it was comfier than the forest floor. They should shoo it away because it will come back if it thinks this is a nice place to hang out.
It looks like a dog that was caught doing something wrong. We can see why someone would confuse it for their pet. He is thinking, "Now they saw me, so do I have to leave, or is this our way of agreeing that I can sleep here each night?"
34. You Are Witnessing A Penguin Wedding
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join these two in holy bird-tramoney." The photographer was trying to photograph these magnificent penguins, and he must have stumbled up a wedding, or possibly the penguin giving a walking tour of the iceberg.
Maybe they were taking a trip, and the penguin in the front had enough of their bickering behind him, so he turned around to reprimand them. Have you ever fought with your siblings in the back seat, and your parents threaten to turn the car around? That must be what they are experiencing.
35. A Curious Elephant Seal Pup Saying Hello
Those (seal) puppy eyes will make anyone's heart melt. He must have gotten bored of all his friends, and he decided to see what the humans were doing. It didn't take him long to turn around because they were sitting around talking, and it looked just as boring as his seal friends.
Usually, the people see penguins hanging out by the fence, but the seals wanted their turn to know what was going on. They must have thought there would be free fish from the humans, but they were probably greatly disappointed.
36. Just A Deer With A Unibrow, Nothing Out Of The Ordinary
Someone should create a deer beauty parlor, so this one can get his unibrow waxed. He looks so derpy with his "w" shaped unibrow; however, if he waxed it, he would look angry all the time, so we don't know what is worse between the two options.
He was caught eating from the bird feeder, and it's hard to be mad at him with a face like that. He probably scared the birds away with his funny-looking face, but we think he is adorable. We would be laughing too hard to run away from him.
37. We Think This Is A Bobcat...No Way To Know For Sure
Is this what you see before being attacked by a wild animal? In the darkness of the night, this person only got the animal's eyes in the photo, but he believes it was a bobcat. We wouldn't want to be standing near a bobcat when you can't figure out where they are.
If he weren't safe, this is could have been the last photo he ever took. Some people might think it is car headlights from a distance, but we believe that it is some kind of wild animal. You can almost make out its head if you squint hard enough.
38. Showing Much More Than His Antlers
It's a boy! This moose is showing off all of his parts, and we don't see why he would want those caught on camera. Does he have no decency or shame? The photographer was not prepared to see this much of the moose while observing it.
The moose probably got annoyed that someone was taking his picture, so he gave them a side that would make them leave him alone. The photographer moved on to another moose when this one refused to turn around because no one wants to take pictures of that.
39. "Hold My Beer, I Am Going In..."
Have you ever wondered why raccoons are called trash pandas? It's because they love trash and the rings around their eyes look like a panda. Here they are emphasizing their love of garbage, and this one is going to the bottom of the barrel to find something tasty.
Someone should make sure it is ok because it has been down there for a while. Can it breathe under all that garbage? They should call someone to get it out of the trash can because too much human food is bad for wild raccoons.
40. Happy Little Lizard
This little lizard is living his happiest and best life. You can see the smile on his face as he stares at his human. It looks like he might have just gotten sick, but that won't wipe the smile off his little face. He must be proud of his little puke puddle.
He's like, "Look, mom, I made you a present that you have to clean up. Isn't it cool?" He must not have liked his lunch and decided to tell his mom in the only way he knew how. He is still a good boy and can't help his sensitive stomach.
41. A Peeping Tom
This lizard has been peeping in the window all day, and he must not realize how rude that is. He doesn't understand social cues and that people don't like to be stared at all day. It must be revenge for the concept of zoos; he is turning it around and showing humans how it feels.
Hopefully, he doesn't tap on the window; it might scare the humans doing work inside. Those Geico commercials are getting more aggressive. We get it, "15 minutes can save you 15 percent or more on your car insurance," they don't need to start following us around.
42. Almost Tripped Over This Blubbery Rock
While walking up the path from the beach, this person nearly tripped over what he thought was a rock. However, he nearly had a heart attack when he realized it was actually an elephant seal. It might look like it is fat and sleepy, but it could be hazardous.
Ironically, the person was just giving up when they couldn't find any elephant seals on the beach. It looks so happy that it found a comfortable place to sleep where the other seals can't bother him. He needs a little ground sign that says do not disturb.
43. Last Photo Before Being Chased By An Angry Badger
When this couple was out in the meadows taking pictures of hawks, they didn't see the angry beast in the grass. This was the last photo she took before she ran screaming towards the car where her husband was waiting, and he didn't understand why she was so afraid.
The angry badger started chasing her and snarling. She flew towards the car at superhuman speed, and her husband thought she was being followed by bees or hornets. They might look cute, but don't be fooled because these animals are extremely dangerous.
44. The Fattest Squirrel You Will Ever See
This squirrel is ready for hibernation 365 days a year. This chunky boy lives in the yard, eats the neighbor's chicken feed, and chases off any other animal that tries to steal his territory. He might be chubby, but he is not going to let someone come and steal his food.
They have My 600-Lb Life for humans, but this squirrel should go on the wildlife version. It's almost like someone put an air nozzle in his mouth and turned him into a squirrel balloon. The only difference is that he is way too heavy to float above the ground.
45. Bug Photobombed The Flower
While they were photographing this flower as it was about to bloom, a tiny bug decided to photobomb the picture because it wanted to be the center of attention also. It looks like a little fairy coming to spread fairy dust so the flower will bloom properly.
It actually made this photo more interesting because you can see how big the flower is compared to the bugs that are attracted to it. The bug said, "Hurry up and take the photo because I can only hover for so long."
